Good morning...

I'm writing to you from our dimly lit and chilly studios this morning after a power outage that seems to have affected alot of people in the Midhurst, Snow Valley Area...

Something funny happened this morning as a result of the power outage though that I had to share with you...normally...our sign out front of the building is what alerts me to the fact that I have arrived at the right place...unfortunately...when the power went out...so did our sign...which is why I'm late this morning...

You see..you're never all that sharp when you wake up at this hour...forget to stop by Timmies for your morning coffee...which I also did this morning...and you're about as sharp as a butter knife...which explains why I felt like I was taking a long time to get to work...a really long time....it wasn't until I almost arrived in Elmvale before I realized that something didn't seem right...that's right..I had driven right past the radio station...and once I passed it...I kept driving...and driving...and driving...and driving..,.never once clueing in until I almost hit the Timmies in Elmvale...a full fifteen minutes from work...that I missed the office..brilliant...

Once I realized my gaffe..I turned around and headed back...and believe it or not...without the sign lit up in front of the station...I drove by it AGAIN!! I'd like to say it's because I just started working here but we all know that's not true....

What a start to the day...45 minutes late...no coffee...and my cheeks are red with embarrassment...I guess it could be worse...I could live in this area and then my hairdryer wouldn't have worked this morning....now THAT would have been ugly:)
